Welcome!

The college admissions game is not an even playing field. Athletes, legacy candidates, and wealthy donor families have a clear advantage that most applicants do not have. While this may seem unfair, the real imbalance lies not with this relatively small and untouchable group, but with the vast majority of well-resourced applicants whose families’ spare no expense for tutors, test prep courses, essay editing, and admissions counseling. Perfect grades and test scores are not enough for acceptance to the elite colleges, and every year these schools accept fewer and fewer applicants. Most school counselors are overwhelmed and unable to give the kind of personal attention that admission to the best schools requires.

When you consider the costly investment of a college education: over $20,000 per year for an in-state public institution to upwards of $80,000 per year for a private, elite university, you will start to realize how necessary it is to seek professional guidance on the front end. Choosing a college counselor is a very personal affair. Not everyone who has expertise in this area is easy to work with, and not all affable people have the kind of background and knowledge necessary for success in this field. Chances are, you have arrived here at my site through word-of-mouth or personal recommendation. To be sure, my background speaks for itself, but more importantly, I am honest, perceptive, personable, and more than anything, I love what I do. Whatever the outcome, I want you to feel like you gave this daunting process 100%. Finish with zero regrets.
